Yes , it's true that with a strong enough "why" just about anything is possible. Your why is simply the reason you've decided to hire a personal trainer. So we will work together to establish a strong "why" - the compelling and motivating reasons you want to accomplish your goal.
But unfortunately, your "why" - although strong, may not be strong enough by itself. Often your "why" just isn't enough to keep you consistently on track.
Accountability adds a lot of power to your "why". Being accountable to someone else adds another level of importance and is another motivator and another tool in your "success" tool box.
Another useful tool is to adjust your environment in a way that facilitates your goal. Simply not having "Ben & Jerry's" readily available in the freezer is one way. Having healthier snacks available is another way. Establishing a place where you like to work out and having enjoyable and fun work outs is still another way.
These ideas and many others we will put together to not only help you reach your goals but to make sure that reaching your goals makes you feel so good that it's a lifestyle you enjoy.

The cornerstone to proper exercise is what I call my strength circuits.
Strength circuits preserve and/or build lean muscle while conditioning and improving cardiovascular conditioning - they're also crazy good fat burners!
An example of a simple but great body weight only strength circuit could be...
Repeat that circuit of 4 exercises 3 or 4 times and you have one awesome fat burning workout accomplished in 12 to 14 minutes!

Here's the bottom line... you must be in a negative energy balance to lose fat.
What that means is that for you to be successful we have to find a way for you to consistently burn more calories every day than you take in. No matter how good your exercise is, you can't exercise your way out of poor nutrition.
You may find that just being more aware of what you're eating or cutting out desserts except for once or twice a week may do it. Maybe taking nutritional "baby steps", slowly adding easy nutritional habits one on top of each other as you master the previous step works for you. Or you may be the individual that succeeds with counting every single calorie you put in your mouth right off the bat.
And that's what makes my personal training so different. It's not just about putting you through some exercises. It's about being there for you 7 days a week and working with you until we find what works best for you in terms of exercise and nutrition so you can't help but be successful.
